What would you put on your vision board or hang winking from the wall behind your door?

Making dreams come true:  A very special something to frame

I believe in these new vision boards.  I do not have one on my computer but I have had one on my walls for years… the kind we have all seen growing up, known as framed pictures.  I have always hung photos of what I strive for in the future; beautiful gardens, music, café in Paris, France (years later my surprise vacation) and making a difference in the world.  Also, all the books I read and display on my little book shelves represent the books filled with fun research, wit and humor that I will write for others to display on their book cases.

And the Norman Rockwell photo of the Saturday Evening Post of the young girl looking at the lady in a magazine that hung on my wall for many years … finally came true with the Valentine’s Day photo of me on page 52 of the February Issue of Inland Empire Magazine (the one with Kim Kardashian on the cover) with their title for me of “Love Coach” and the heartwarming story about my romance book underneath.   It just proves to me again…just keep at it and wait a few minutes (or tiny years)… prayers are answered.

Last week a wonderful book store manager let me take home the Barnes and Noble signage with Cherries Over Quicksand featured from my book signing, where I met the nice guy with the Mel Gibson look I posted on my FB page.  I am deciding on which wall in my office to hang my B & N book signing poster.  It has to be a wall I can catch with the corner of my eye for a surprise warm-hug moment.  This new book signing tour is one of those Gifts from God kinds of things I never really expected to happen but always prayed for so it cannot hang on just an ordinary wall.  I think I have decided… it will hang on the wall I can see when my office door is completely shut.  That way it will also serve the purpose of keeping me on task and out of the pantry where all the goodies call my name for undeserved yet tempting breaks in writing.  Yes, that is where it will hang.  Happiness.

Where will you hang your inspirational pictures?
I am posting this (below) as a vision/picture board… hope to meet  and greet more friends here…
